Where is the best place you have been skiing before? I've been skiing to Mammoth Mountain and Stowe in the USA, and Mont Tremblant in Canada. They have all been amazing places but Stowe has to be have been the best place so far, even though there arn't any resorts by the slopes, it has a really nice town and some brilliant runs for all levels of skiers. |

For partying and extreme skiing St Anton is very hard to beat. For extreme skiing and luxury then don't miss Jackson Hole. The Steep and Deep camp there is a must for any backcounty ski fan. For the ultimate in grooming, glading, lift queue control, and value, then Whistler is the most professionally run resort in the world. But my favourite is surprisingly in France. I usually hate the ugly French resorts but I love Morzine. I rate the mountain huts in Lindaret and Linga, the endless miles of pistes, the back Valleys like De la Manche or Hidden, the authentic Savoie town, the short transfer, the sunny restaurant plateau in Les Gets, the park in Avoriaz, the Giraffes in the Buddha Bar, etc etc. If there's snow, then it is the best! |

Having not been skiing before I have no idea - I'd love to find a resort that was all partying at night and all skiing during the day! |
